Jade Byrne JADE BYRNE – Claire
Jade has spent almost her entire life living in Darlington, she graduated from SLP College Leeds in 2008 with a National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Since then Jade has gained more acting training with the Northern Actor’s Centre in Manchester and now feels ready to embark upon a long fulfilling career in the industry. Jade’s most recent appearance was in Office 925 (Match Theatre Company) at the Live Theatre, Newcastle playing the Receptionist. Jade also worked on the original workshop week of Apples in 2009 playing Jenny, Debbie and others and is delighted to now be playing the part of Claire in the National Tour.
Abigail Moffatt ABIGAIL MOFFATT – Debbie
Abigail trained at Bretton Hall where she was awarded a 1st class honours degree in Acting. Since graduating, Abigail has focused on devising, performing and producing her own one-woman shows at Northern Stage. She has also just enjoyed the first residency at Northern Stage as part of the theatre’s Time in Two Creative Residencies programme. As well as her own work, Abigail has remained active in working with others, performing recently in Three Across, Two Down (Operating Theatre) and collaborating with ZENDEH. Abigail is thrilled to be part of Apples which gives a voice to an overlooked generation of her native region.
Therase Neve THERASE NEVE – Eve
Therase trained at Bretton Hall on the BA Hons Acting Degree and at the Manchester School of Acting. Theatre credits include; Ariel in The Tempest (Customs House, South Shields) Forever, Tight and The Tower (Brief Candle Theatre); City of Stories (Moveable Feast Productions); Tom’s Shack, Flesh and Manhattan Henge (Carriageworks, Leeds). Theatre while training includes; The Duchess in The Duchess of Malfi and Antonia in Can’t Pay, Won’t Pay. Film credits include; One In Ten (Ivonorite Productions-Artificial Eye), Abstruse Minds (Delarium Productions). Voiceovers include; In The Doghouse (Lime Pictures, Liverpool).

Louis Roberts LOUIS ROBERTS – Gary
Louis trained with Interact. His credits include: The Unattended and Unreal (Customs House), Alex the Warrior, The Winter Star, The Comedy of Errors, The Firebird, Bailey Bridge, These Things Do Happen, Country Voices and Pinocchio (all for Northumberland Theatre Company), The Great Storm, Wills Story (Cleveland Theatre Company), A Caribbean Christmas (Forest Forge Theatre Company), Margaret Down Under (Eastern Angles Theatre Company), The Pied Piper, Paradise Street (Bruvvers Theatre Company), Mr Forests Second Nature (New Writing North/Live Theatre) Bitesize and Peter Pan (Northern Stage)
Dylan Edge DYLAN EDGE – Ben
Dylan is delighted to be working on Apples. His professional debut was in Byker Grove when he was eighteen. Credits include : The Tempest (Trinculo) KG/Customs House Productions, Paradise Street – Bruvvers, Son Of Samurai – Ion Productions, Ambulance Chaser – Cloud Nine, Slipping the Net – Customs House, Chain - Cloud Nine. TV; Wire in the Blood, 55 Degrees North, Byker Grove. In 2011 Dylan will be co- writing the score for ‘Grendel’s Mother’ ; a site specific adaptaion of Beowulf, at the Roman fort of Arbeia.
